Privacy Policy
How Answering Specialists Inc. handles information collected through this website.
Last updated: August 7, 2026
What this policy covers
This policy describes information collected through this website. Information we handle on behalf of our clients while providing answering services is governed by our Service Agreement with that client, not by this policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit a contact or quote form, we receive the details you enter — typically your name, business name, email address, phone number, and the message you write. We use it to reply to you and to prepare a quote.
Website measurement. We run our own privacy-preserving analytics. We record page views, the page you arrived from, an approximate location derived from your IP address (country, region, city), and a general device category (mobile, tablet, desktop). Your IP address is converted to a one-way hash and the original is not stored. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or third-party analytics services.
Campaign attribution. If you reach us from a marketing link, the campaign tags in that link (such as utm_source) are stored with your enquiry so we know which campaigns work.
Local storage and cookies
We do not set advertising or tracking cookies. The site stores a small amount of data in your browser: a short-lived session identifier used for analytics, your analytics opt-out preference, and — if you sign in to the staff admin area — your login session.
How we use information
We use the information to respond to enquiries, provide and improve our services, understand which pages and campaigns are useful, secure the site, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are retained while we are in contact with you and for as long as we need them for business and legal records. Analytics records are aggregate in nature and contain no direct identifiers.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA or the GDPR, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
To make a request, email sales@ansspc.com or use our contact form. We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request.
Your analytics choice
Our analytics are cookie-free and never identify you personally. You can still turn measurement off for this browser at any time.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access limited to authorised staff. Staff accounts require a password that meets our policy, and administrators may additionally require a second verification step at sign-in. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we work to protect information appropriately.
Children
This website is intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Please check back periodically.
